Hope Hanging in the Balance for Arua Hill SC and Busoga United FC’s Survival in the FUFA Big League

Pressure is escalating in the Arua Hill Sports Club and Busoga United FC camps after a tense 1-1 draw yesterday at Pece War Memorial Stadium. The result leaves Arua HIll with one game remaining and Busoga United with two, both teetering on the brink of relegation.

On the 9th minute of the game,Tops scorer contender, Dickens Kilama scored the first goal putting Arua Hill Sports Club ahead of their counterpart.

In the 30th minute, Ceasor Sapeo broke the deadlock with a clinical finish after Arua Hill Sports Club’s goalkeeper failed to clear the ball, inadvertently punching it onto his foot.

The first half was a hard-fought battle, but Arua Hill Sports Club ultimately dominated possession and control of the game

The game intensified in the 70th minute when Busoga United’s Charles Sanday Mulanda was sent off, but Arua Hill failed to capitalise on the advantage.

Despite the challenges, both Arua Hill Sports Club and Busoga United fans remain confident in their team’s strength vowing to continue their unwavering support.

Arua Hill Sports Club sits 12th in the Uganda Big League standings with 29 points, with just one away game remaining. Busoga United FC in 14th place trails closely with 27 points and two games left to play .

Under FUFA regulations, the bottom four clubs in the league face relegation to the FUFA Third Division.
