Kumalo Sports Club began their 2025 campaign in the Children Care Uganda Mental Health Soccer Tournament with an impressive 3–1 victory over Garage Football Club at the UPDF Pitch.

After a goalless first half, new signing Onekalit Geoffrey broke the deadlock in the 50th minute before Andrew Odong doubled Kumalo’s lead seven minutes later, giving the team firm control of the match.

Anthony pulled one back for Garage FC to make it 2–1, but Onekalit Geoffrey restored Kumalo’s two-goal lead in the 70th minute, completing his brace and securing a commanding 3–1 victory for Kumalo.
Onekalit Geoffrey’s brilliant performance, featuring two goals and tireless work throughout the match, earned him the Man of the Match award, a fitting recognition for his outstanding debut.
The victory gives Kumalo Sports Club a confident start to their group stage campaign as they now prepare to face Super Eagles FC in their second match on October 29, 2025.
With Onekalit’s inspiring form and a solid all-round team display, Kumalo will be looking to maintain their winning momentum as the tournament progresses.
