Kumalo Sports Club Open Group D With a Commanding 3–1 Victory Over Pi Wan Medical.

Kumalo Sports Club kicked off their Rupiny Christmas Cup 2025 campaign in emphatic fashion, securing a 3–1 win over Pi Wan Medical in their opening Group D fixture.

Pi Wan Medical scored first in the 15th minute, but Kumalo’s Geoffrey Onekalit equalized just four minutes later, sending the teams into halftime tied 1–1 after a tightly contested opening half.

Kumalo dominated the second half, with Andrew Odong giving them the lead early on. Jimmy Nyeko later sealed the win with a powerful strike, securing a commanding 3–1 victory.

The win lifts Kumalo Sports Club to the top of Group D on goal difference, giving them a positive start in their quest for progression.

New signing Kizza Bonny made an immediate impact, dominating the midfield and earning the Man of the Match award on his debut — a promising sign for the club as the tournament progresses
