Kumalo Sports Club beat Watoto Football Club Laminadera 2-1 for a record first title in the Christ For All Nation CFAN Cup championship organized in Gulu.
Oscar Lubangakene and Nelson Okot scored the goals as Kumalo Sports Club walloped Watoto Football Club Laminadera to win CFAN Cup Championship at Pece Stadium.
Nelson Okot issued an alert to his Kumalo team mates before the match ,saying: “If we are determined enough then we shall win the game. “they were bold enough in the half time of their game, they created a lot of chances that resulted in a half time lead.
It was a hard moment for the Kumalo Sports Club Head Coach, Bakit Agogo in the middle of second half as he could not settle at the touchline due to too much pressure mounted on his players by the opponent side.
On the 81st minute of the game, Kumalo sports club skipper, Welborn Okot Odyambo. hit the goal post after a sensational free kick but failed to get the back of the net to secure the third goal for his side.
On the 90th minute of the game, Watoto Football Club secured their only goal but could not go over the edge their rival that saw Kumalo sports victorious at the stoppage time.
