Kumalo Sports Club show cased their appearance in the Dong Acoli Cup 2025 first edition securing two consecutive victories in their opening fixtures last Saturday at Gulu High School Playground.

Odong Andrew’s powerful header from Okot Nelson Mandela’s precise cross just before halftime delivered a hard-fought 1-0 win, earning Kumalo their crucial first three points.

In their second tournament outing, Kumalo took control early as Richard Akena finished expertly from Yona Opiyo’s incisive through ball. Late in the match, substitute Joel Kawanga sealed the 2-0 win over Atanga Red Bulls with a superb strike assisted by Captain Brian Acire.
