The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) recognition marks a new chapter for football in Northern Uganda. As the only selected school from the Acholi Sub-Region, Layibi College stands out not only for its strong academic tradition but also for its outstanding sports facilities and proven excellence in education and athletics.

This milestone creates the ideal environment for future National Team players to develop, excelling both on the pitch and in the classroom at the leading schools in the region that have produced most prominent leaders and athletes from the region.
